It's Monday night. It's single digits. The garbage gets picked up at 6am tomorrow about 100 yards from the house at a cost of $5 per trash can. So here I am in my new hat (thanks Heather and Ryan!), puffy jacket and headlamp with some garbage. The beard is purely functional (honest mum!).

so..as a country girl - 100 yards from your house is a almost as easy as it is here - aside from the digging a hole and burning it option in Unadilla - the real way we did it was a group of people would get a dumpster and share the cost of getting it picked up once a week or month...I can't remember - we did the whole, put the garbage on the hood of the car and drove it a mile to the dumpster routine....good times -
A2girl, everyone in Unadilla is crazy high on meth, so I don't suppose it's at all unusual to see cars careening around with garbage cans on their hoods.
Paul and Sheri, have you been to The Nines yet?
By the way, I'm affronted that "I Fell Asleep In My Chair" has been removed from your "must read" list. Hmmph.
I've been to the Nines but Sheri hasn't. Awesome Pizza! And "I fell asleep in my chair" will be re-instated!
I'm not trying to pull you, even though I would like to. I think you are really fit - you're fit but my gosh don't you know it.
I Fell Asleep In My Chair hasn't been updated for months. I want new pix!
Word up, Sheri Hall. Thanks for the nice comment. We're jealous about Ithaca. We spent a week in Watkins Glen in July, looking out into Seneca Lake + thinking 'We'd love to live here if we could figure out how to make a living.'
Joel and Mo
Chaka still falls asleep in his chair--a lot--but just try taking a picture. The paparazzi wake him up every time.
Chaka is also easily affronted.
The hat looks AWESOME!!!!
