Tour o' MI

Well, I'm down to my final 10 days in the mitten state, and it's dawned on me this week there's a bunch of stuff I want to do before heading south. So...

On Sunday, I took my grandma and mom to a Tiger game (accompanied by the very gracious Klinke, who knows how to push a wheelchair.) The temperature was mid-70s, the Tigers won, Grandma smiled a heck of a lot and soundly slept for the next two days. Perfect!

After the game, we dined at the gloriously delicious Mi Pueblo in Detroit. Taco dinners all around, except for Grandma who had a ham torta. Food doesn't get any better. Seriously.

Got in one last visit with the venerable Mike Hudson on one of this frequent trips to D-town. Hung out with some blogger-web types. Dined in Milford. Good stuff.

And yesterday, I manged to run the stairs of the grand Michigan Stadium for one last time. That place is really breathtaking.

Also on the list before I leave: Dine at the Prickly Pear in Ann Arbor, visit Bird Hills, bike Huron River Drive, drink coffee at Cafe Verde. Am I missing anything? I'll keep you posted.

First, I LOVE the new doo! Very cute.

Add to list
- at least one morning swim
- a drive through of Ypsi - you can even visit my house, which is STILL for sale. (ugh)
