It happened around 8 o'clock this morning. Hannah decided to get up at 5 a.m. today and stay up until 7, at which point Aaron woke up and Paul headed out for work. After playing cars for an hour while dealing with fussy Hannah, I set her down in the cradle and lay down on the living room couch. If I had closed my eyes, I don't think I would have woken up until noon.
Of couse, she started fussing two minutes later. That's when A said, "Oh no, what's wrong with Hannah?" (He has learned to pronounce his "H"s very well since she was born, so it comes out like Hhhh-anna.) He ran over to the cradle and gave it a hefty push. She was still crying. I was laying on the couch literally saying a prayer for enough energy to get up. That's when A said, "I think she needs policeman bear." He ran to get his stuffed animal, and came back to the cradle. "Here, Hannah." (Very strong "H"s again.) Miraculously, she looked at the bear, stopped crying and fell asleep within two minutes - for another hour and a half. Bliss.

I'm exhausted just thinking about your day! How is Hannah sleeping at night?
oh, what an awesome big brother!
Oh Sher I know how that goes! Ian and I have had many 2-hour love fests overnight or in early morning that were only fun for him. Not sure which I dislike more - those or the waking every hour for 15-20 minutes. Also brutal! We'll get through it!
What and ingenious child A is! I have a little stinker who could benefit from some big brother love! That is if you could spare the cutest big brother there is...
